Portait of Simone Molinaro (ca. 1570-1634)

This lutecast is devoted to Simone Molinaro (ca. 1570 - 1634), one of the greatest lute composers of the late Renaissance in Italy. The focus is on his lute book "Intavolatura di liuto", published 1599 in Venice. The lutecast contains examples of his fantasias, dance music and intabulations of vocal works.
